This month Wes and I are focusing on teaching our kids to be thankful to God. During our meals we each tell something we are thankful for and during our prayer time we thank God for the things we mentioned.
As we begin the month of November and many of us begin focusing on the Thanksgiving holiday I want to impress on my kids that we need not be thankful because of a holiday, but because in the scriptures David gives us that example.
I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart, I will recount all of your wonderful deeds. I will be glad and exult in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High. Psalm 9:1-2
